🔗 Pacifier Clips and Dummy Clips: Safety and Standards
This collection brings together all the pacifier clips and dummy clips available on BabyBoss.ma, from all brands (MAM, BIBS, NUK, Farlin), to keep your baby's pacifier clean, accessible, and safe every day and when out and about.
📏 Pacifier clip and dummy clip: what's the difference?
Both terms refer to the same type of accessory; “dummy clip” refers to the teat of the pacifier itself, while “pacifier clip” refers to the complete item. In everyday language in Morocco and France, both expressions are used interchangeably for the same product.
🛡️ Safety standards to know
- EN 12586 standard: European standard governing the safety of pacifier clips, particularly the maximum cord length
- Regulated length: the cord must not exceed a certain length to prevent any risk of strangulation
- BPA-free materials: food-grade silicone or Oeko-Tex-certified textile for fabric models
🧷 Types of clips available
- Classic clip: covered plastic or metal clasp that attaches to clothing
- Textile ribbon: softer and often customizable with patterns
- Silicone ring: universal loop compatible with most pacifiers
❓ Frequently asked questions
Does a pacifier clip need to bear a CE marking?
Yes, a product that complies with European standards must bear the CE marking, guaranteeing compliance with safety requirements, particularly regarding the cord length.
Can a pacifier clip be used at night?
It is generally not recommended to leave a pacifier clip attached to your baby's clothing during sleep, to limit any risk of it becoming wrapped around them.
From what age can a pacifier clip be used?
From birth, as soon as the baby uses a pacifier; the choice of model (clip, ribbon) mainly depends on the parents' preferences.

Products are good. But they need to work on their delivery service. Delivery must be done on business hours. Not late at night
Service client catastrophique.
