In short: the b.box Flip Top 1 L insulated bottle in Shadow, a plain light grey, is a large stainless steel bottle with triple-layer insulation that keeps drinks cold for up to 46 hours according to b.box. Its Flip Top lid hides a stainless steel straw, it is leakproof when closed and it is carried by its flexible handle.

Why choose this 1 litre bottle?

  • Large capacity: 1 L for a school day, a sports session or a walk, without refilling at every break.
  • Triple insulation: three layers that keep drinks cold for up to 46 hours, according to the manufacturer.
  • Flip Top lid: lift the spout and the stainless steel straw is ready to use.
  • Leakproof when the lid is closed, so it is reassuring at the bottom of a bag.
  • Flexible, durable carry handle to carry it in one hand.
  • Free from BPA, PVC and phthalates, according to the tests cited by b.box.

Use and care

  1. Unscrew the lid, remove the handle, straw, o-ring and straw connector, then wash all parts before first use.
  2. Refit the o-ring flat in the lid groove without twisting it, then put back the connector, straw and handle.
  3. Fill the bottle, screw the lid back on and lift the Flip Top spout to drink. Close it after each sip: the bottle is only leakproof with the lid closed.
  4. Dishwasher safe: lid and small parts on the top rack with the spout open, bottle body on the bottom rack. Wash the lid weekly with the spout open and let everything dry before reassembling.

Good to know

Only the lid can be sterilised in the microwave, with steam or in boiling water; the bottle body and the other parts cannot. The manufacturer gives no duration for keeping hot drinks hot. Browse all b.box insulated bottles and the full b.box range in our aisles.
