How to use the Lansinoh storage bags

1. Wash your hands, open the bag and write the name, date, time and volume on the label.
2. Pour in the expressed milk, or pump directly into the bag with a compatible adapter, without going over the 180 ml mark.
3. Press out the air, then close the double zipper seal.
4. Lay the bag flat in the freezer, or place it in the fridge but not in the door.
5. Throw the bag away after use: it cannot be reused.

Storage times and precautions

According to the manufacturer's chart shown with the product, fresh milk keeps for 4 hours at room temperature and refrigerated milk at 4 °C for up to 4 days. Lansinoh states up to 6 months of storage in the freezer. These times come from the manufacturer: ask your midwife or paediatrician for advice, especially for a premature or fragile baby. Do not heat milk in the microwave.
